I had a lasagne here that was cold in the middle, I was already tiddly and pretty so I ate it anyway but that is pretty wrong. The only good thing is they have a quiz machine that I won a bit of money on but I have to rate it low on the shocking meal experience, if I want a poorly cooked meal I only have to stay at home.

This is now a Weatherspoon, been there 5 times always quite liked it. Would go there more if my girlfriend wasnt a Weatherspoons snob (even though she quite likes it in there herself)

The Kings Arms, Ealing

This is a nice looking pub (nice floors), so nice looking that it is slightly uninviting/unhomely. I still like this pub but would like it more if it wasnt overpriced. btw this pub is a bit overpriced.

Great pub, it's pretty quiet when there's no sport on but a good atmosphere when there is and not too busy that you won't be able to see the match properly. The food is o.k but benefits from being inexpensive and the pub quiz on Thursday is the best I've been too.

The New Inn, Ealing

Great pub and great food especially the carvery on Sundays, I would give this pub ten if the drinks weren't so expensive, i.e. charging as much for a blackcurrant and soda as you would for a pint of beer, would have had a beer if I knew they would do that.

btw there's no pool table, it's wrongly listed in the facilities above

Went here on Saturday for the first time and I've never been treated so horribly in a pub ever. Come the end of the night the barman asked us to drink up which we obiged to until 5 minutes later a female bartender who must have had pms or something spikey stuck in her ariss started being amazingly rude in telling us to go even after we explained we were just waiting for our female friend to come out of the loo. We pointed out the other twenty people in the pub going at the same pace and she let us know that they're friends of the pub and are allowed to take a bit more time.

My group will certainly never going back to this disgraceful pub again.

The Richmond, Hammersmith

I echo the sentiments of the guy below me. It's the only place around here where you can be gauranteed a game of pool due to the plethora of tables. The drinks prices are great and everybody is friendly. Not the kind of place to go if you are on the pull since its usually 95% men but still by far my favourite pub in Shepherds Bush.

Roxys, Fitzrovia

Went here last night (Wednesday), twas good, everytime I bought a beer they gave me two which although drunk I figured out there's special offers going on which is always a bonus. Music was semi cheesy and indie, good place to go if you don't want to go home at normal pub closing time and want to mess up your working day by feeling like crap.

Walkabout, Shepherds Bush

Very true about those aussie meatheads bumping into you, the minute you get your snakebite from the bar you have to take a couple of gulps to give yourself leeway for some inevitable bumping or it goes all over you.

Nowhere else in town will be as packed or as much fun as the Walkabout early Sunday evening. Good place to go if you are already a bit sozzled.

The Green, Shepherds Bush

Very nice bar. Good clientele, no chavs and good mixture of boys and girls,

Decent number of t.v.'s to watch any sporting events too.

The White Horse, Shepherds Bush

Great little quite pub this.

Not one you would go to party in on a Friday or Saturday night but perfect for a quite couple off drinks and a game of pool.

The Guiness is great and cheap and the pool table is perfect.
