The Exmouth Arms, Euston

Nice pub, beer good, food menu looked appealling, but only complant is the open kitchen next to the bar, we sat opposite and came out smelling like chip fat with sore eyes as the steam/smoke etc from the cooking curculates all around the pub.
Will visit again, but will sit outside or well away from the kitchen.

Ye Old Mitre, Holborn

FINALLY FOUND IT! Visited last Friday, Lots of scaffolding outside with a lot of work & noise happening, none of it on the pub im glad to say and it didnt distract from the pub itself.
Had Bathams on, but had Duchars which was a very nice pint.
Busy downstarirs as it was lunchtime so sat upstairs and all we could smell what seemed like toast burning constantly?
Will visit again, hopefully at a quiter time.

The Old Bank of England, Fleet Street

Loved this pub, found it very 'grand' inside.
Had Bank of England Pie (Beef & Venison) which was absolutely fantastic, mashed spuds & veg also all cooked perfectly.
Found the Bar staff very friendly & helpful with the menu.
Only downside not open weekends which is when we usually visit London, so will have to make special trip, if only for the pie!

Ye Olde Cock Tavern, Fleet Street

Visited last Friday. Beer choice OK and tatse was good.
Didnt eat ourselves, but as it was lunch lots of plates of food coming past all of which looked Very nice. The fish (& Chips) was hanging off the plates.

Will visit again, may have something to eat as prices seemed quite reasonable for the locality.

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Fleet Street

Beer was good when we visited last Friday, No Alpine on though. Not all bars/rooms open, but they let us have a look around anyway.

Will definitely visit again when in London.

Takes a while for your eyes to adjust to the dark!

The Bridge, Birmingham New Street station

This pub is now called 'The Shakespeare' and has had a refit.

They charge astronomical prices as its on the station and the beer tastes cr*p. I had to ask for a dash of lemonade in my lager to try and make it taste somewhere near drinkable.

If youre at New St Station and want a drink go upstairs into the Palisades and find the 'Newt', much better than in here.

This pub has closed down.

The Port n' Ale, Tipton

Fantastic Pub, always a good selection of Real Ales, but the Carling & Stella are always good in here as well.

The food is unbelievable, from Sandwiches to Steaks; you cant go wrong with the selection (I recommend the Boozy Braised Steak!)

No Smoking section in the conservatory, and a nice Beer Garden.

Very Friendly staff. My favourite Pub in Tipton.

Nags Head, Great Bridge

The lager is AWFUL in here, have to take a deep breath before drinking it so you dont catch the smell, its that bad.

Been in here a few times and it never gets better. Very much a 'Locals' pub, they dont seem to be very friendly or welcome new faces.

Dont think we will bother again for a very long time.

Albion, Thetford

The lager was flat, had to add a dash of lemonade to try & liven it up a bit. Gunniess was a bit better.

The Pub smelt a bit 'stale' when we entered, luckily it was a nice day and was able to sit outside.

Whitelocks, Leeds

Wonderful old pub with good beer althought only 1 real ale available when we visited (Deuchars).

Food looks nice, but did seem a little bit pricey for Bar food.

It does smell a bit damp when you first go in but you cant smell it after a while. Not bad enough to put you off food or drink though!

The tabels are Very highly polished. They must buy brasso in bulk!

The Oddfellows Arms, Toddington

Visited this pub on Saturday early afternoon, ordered 2 pints of Fosters & 1 pint of IPA, all were flat and didnt taste Particularly nice, maybe it was becuase were were some of the first in I dont know. But we all had to force them down.

Nice interior, low beams though so beware !

The Horseley Tavern, Tipton

Old style pub with good beer.

The Billiard Hall, West Bromwich

This is a pretty typical Wetherspoons pub really.

Good selecetion of real ales, beers etc and always cheap, service is usually quick. Typical microwaved food also served but I can honestly say meals are

Bright decor, recently had a mini make over they have taken some of the booths out and made it more open plan.

Normally always busy.

Busbys, West Bromwich

This is the pub we use before WBA home games. This is recently opened again as a sports bar, which means they have added a large screen and a few plasa screnes about the place.

Its childrens friendly up to 7pm. You get a large mix of young & old people in. Special offers on the drinks throughout the week and its not a bad drink at all.
Ladies toilets are clean, but freezing. Mens (so im told) are passable.

Quite a good selection of food, BUT it takes AGES to arrive. We ordered some Chicken Tikka and 2 Naans and it took over an hour to arrive, then they had got the order wrong, but it is good food when it does arrive.

It is situated directly opposite the new Bus Station in West Brom. I would receommend a visit
