The Flying Horse, Broadgate

What a fabulous pub. I can't believe that you can find a proper traditional local in the middle of the City of London. The staff are all friendly especially Kylie who remembered us from the previous evening and made us feel so welcome. Will be making a beeline for this pub on my next business trip

Ye Old Crown, Rayleigh

Definately the best pub on Rayleigh High Street. Doesn't sell my favourite tipple which is Carling but their Fosters is a far better pint than the Carling from other pubs in the immediate area. Nice atmosphere and the staff are welcoming especially CJ and Jason. Would highly recommend this pub for a mid week drink.

The Welcome All, Greenhithe

Appearances can be deceiving. This pub looks quite sinister from the outside but it turns out that the name couldn't be more apt. A lovely warm welcome from Jeff the Barman and all of the locals were friendly. Went in two nights on the run as away on business in the area. Already feel like a local. If you like good beer in nice company in a proper traditional pub then the Welcome All is for you.

The Roundhouse, Covent Garden

Went in on a Thursday just before Christmas. Don't know if it was the time of year but not the best experience. The bar staff were not good at knowing who was next to be served and the toilets were in a bad state. If you happen to be in the area I would recommend you give it a miss and try the excellent Lamb and Flag accross the road instead.
