| The pub is to be honest a bit rough around the edges cosmetically & the gents is poor. That said, it is a proper community boozer with locals & barstaff who are happy to have a natter & is the sort of pub that should be encouraged to grow & not just criticised. | Appearances can be deceiving. This pub looks quite sinister from the outside but it turns out that the name couldn't be more apt. A lovely warm welcome from Jeff the Barman and all of the locals were friendly. Went in two nights on the run as away on business in the area. Already feel like a local.
