The Norfolk arms is a Joseph Holt pub set smack bang in the middle of Glossop in a lovely imposing building. Whilst feeling a bit 'chainy', it was overall pretty good. Wide beer and lager choice, friendly staff, decent food, and a good mix of drinkers. Part of the pub is given to diners, part bar (with plenty of space) and a row of tables with in-built TV's for the sport loving drinker. Also a large courtyard. Beers on offer were Two Hoots Golden ale, Joseph Holt Bitter & Joseph Holt IPA. Definitely worth dropping in for a tipple...

Report from Glossop Pub Crawl on 03.05.2014: Comfortable pub right next to the train station in Glossop. This pub was updated a couple of years ago and is very spacious. The Holts bitter was good. Very busy when we called.

Comfortable town centre pub. Well worth a visit for the unusual Holts real ale.

Comfortable town centre pub. The Holts beers were not really to my taste, but neverthless acceptable. Visited on part of a crawl and was starting to get very busy, so we moved on!!
