Typical JDW pub, that was quiet on a Sunday morning. Busier by far in the afternoon.
The staff were pleasant, if overworked in the afternoon.
Two beers from the local Oakleaf Brewery were on sale, 'Pompey Royal' and 'Quercus Folium'. They were both served well.

Refreshingly chav-free, typical Wetherspoons joint with good beer selection at reasonable prices. Best thing is the prices, worst thing is the garden - it's like something you'd expect to see in a Soviet boozer.

I'd echo the previous comment. It's what you'd expect a Wetherspoons to be, althoguh they do seem to have done a good job keeping the local chavs away from the place.

just as you'd expect a wetherspoons to be like, good beer at good prices but the total basics

rude staff, very abrupt about asking me for some kind of ID- quite amusing as i am 21! nice food. no music tho- other wetherspoons are now introducing music and tv screens so this one can be quite quiet. cheap drinks tho. always a winner
