This establishment ceased to sell alcoholic drinks earlier in 2019. Not too sure of the reasons why, possibly religion, but no alcohol is allowed on the premises. You can't even take your own drinks for your meal.

The Farmhouse is more of a restaurant these days. It is a large place that serves Indian food, alongside Sunday roasts. There were actually two Greene King Ales - IPA & Abbot. But drinks were quite expensive. I have to say that the Indian food smelt really nice. But this is not really a place you'd want to come regularly just for a drink. There is a large car park and a children's play area outside.

We went to this pub at Christmas, it wasn't really busy, but we must have sat for 15 mins waiting to be served, we'd already got our drinks on the way in, so sat there like plebs, all my attempts to attract some service seemed to go unnoticed, hungry people get agitated, just about to finish drink, someone came to take our order, I had English, my husband had the Indian option, INDIAN was definitely better, English was rubbish, not being boozers, we were only there for the food, so quite disappointing, I would return when in the area, for Indian Only, service was very poor.

This place has been taken over in the last couple of years and I would definitely recommend a visit now. Food and drink are pretty good but above all you'll get a friendly welcome.

Went there recently after over a year's absence. Gone is the Hardy and Hanson Mild hence gone is any reason to go there. A "nothing" pub. (That is if you can still call it a pub)
