As per articblonde 2 years ago epic epic fail. Booked at two and got out at 5. If it hadn't been for the coffee machine failing we might have made it out by last orders. To describe this pubs service as a shamble does a real disservice to shambles. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived. That took 15 minutes. There weren't any menus. That took another 5.Then an hour. Kids burger meal was a burger in a bun with nothing and I mean nothing at all in between. We had to ask for ketchup. The pub cannot cope with anything remotely like a rush but oddly enough the chef started bringing out the food even though there were loads of serving staff. I got the right bill on the third try. The second included coffees from the broken coffee machine. I really expected Manuel to tun up shouting fuego. I don't know about the Two Brewers but it would have to be shocking to be the second best pub in Northaw

Visited again but unfortunately the gentleman who appears to be in charge of the floor was not their and the reins being held by a lady socialising at the bar, waited ten mins to finish her gossiping before serving drinks and restaurant service was very poor, waited 15 mins for a menu, 15 mins to order and didn't offer menus for dessert. However food was it's usual fantastic quality. This rating is to reflect the service not the food.

Cant recommend this pub highly enough, beautiful location and loved the garden and interior, was lucky enough to visit on one of the few sunny days weve had this year. Food is excellent, had the skate with clams and capers followed by the lemon tart with strawberry ice cream, all were delicious. To my horror came across the reviews on your website and had to set the record straight. Its a joy to have at last found a pub in this area that serves great British food and beer, not the ding of a microwave to be heard or a pint of mass produced foreign lager to be seen!!! How refreshing. Will definitely be going back.

Epic faiure. Half the menu wasn't available and when my second choice burger eventaually turned up it was a complete let down. Chewy and tasteless.
The staff were not able to cope with what was best described as a small rush.
There have been a couple of good reviews on here, so working on the principle it couldn't get any worse, I will try it again. On the upside the quality of the wines on the list turned out to be a happy event!
