Love this place for gigs will have to visit again soon. Beer is alright but mainly bottles which is easier for me when watching gigs.

If you like fizzy p*ss, this is the place for you. No real ale, too many Germans too far out from anywhere else. It's a one way journey to this bar I'm afraid and when you get there, you wish you'd not bothered. Nice staff though.

Handy for gigs at the Academy. Decent bottled beer selection.

A quality little place which'd be easy to miss as it's sandwiched inbetween a florists and a takeaway. Fantastic range of foreign bottled beers and the food looks OK as well. Only downside is tht, as already mentioned, is extremely pricey. Nevertheless a foo place to go for a livener or if you want to impress girl.

after waiting half an hour to get served when busy it would be nice to get a smile from the bar staff - and getting served my wine in a pint glass cos they'd run out of wine glasses just made me feel cheap - til i realised how very expensive that wine was.
ah well.

Nice little bar with a good selection of bottled beers, but a bit on the expencive side. I'd recommend it if you're just calling in for 1 or 2 then moving on.

Good but expensive beer. 'Cool' atmosphere, perhaps a little too bohemian for some (i.e my) taste. Also, last time I went in had the misfortune of experiencing the worst service ever.

Top jukey....relaxed place(if you can get a seat)...and just get leathered on the Cruzacampo etc....Check the old flyers on the walls near/in the bogs to see if you`ve been to any of the gigs..try not to get your boots wet!

When I visited last summer, someone had attacked the full sized cork effegy of Robin Hood with a purple felt tip. Said vandal must be partially illiterate as "West Ham is a poof" does not make grammatical sense. The bar staff were efficient and turned a blind eye when Wellsy was sick in the juke box. Would defo return... If only to retrieve the shoe I left in the far urinal.

a bit expensive, and the music is trying too hard to be cool, but not too bad

really cool in the day. Just collapse onto the engulfing sofas and enjoy the coolest music with an esspresso and a fag.

The best bar in manchester by far!!

Not a bad bar, decent music and it's bigger than you think from the outside. Nice Belgian beers.

Vibrant place full of friendly, interesting people.

Interesting little bar next door to a kebab shop. Has had numerous refurbs and renamings, but essentially remains the same. Late license scores points, and a good range of music. On the down side, it is pricey and door charges often apply.

Fantastic place to go for a drink post gig. Even better on one of the late night licenses. Well worth a visit. IF you like to sit down, you had best get there early as this place HEAVES!!

You may even spot the occasional semi-famous person.
