The White Lion Hotel, Castlefield

Used to go when I was younger and had good memories of comedy tent and the usual stuff you get in castlefield. Went in a few weeks ago and am still having nightmares about the pint of ale we had. Truly a horrifying experience. Definitely geared towards young families and scally wags! Honeslty though, it tasted like something had died in the pipes.

The Marble Beer House, Chorlton cum Hardy

Really used to like this pub. However, havn't been in since the beer started tasting really odd and flat. My Dad took his pint back to the bar and was greeted by a disgruntled barmaid, who had the cheek to suggest that it was fine 'cos everyone else was drinking it! As if those boozed up, old blokes know what they are drinking! Seriously, though the beer was not nice.

Rendezvous, Manchester

I want to love this bar but it's truly rubbish on a Friday night. The music is turned up so loud you can't hear yourself think and lets face it you don't go there to dance. And on one of the longest bars in town they regularly have two bar staff! One of which always seems to be on a break.
