"I was once fooled by the huge mirrors to the left on entering this place nearer the bar (probably had a bit too much to drink!), as I thought it was another part of Baa Bar!"

"can take a while to get served."

Maybe you should move away from the mirror!

Students, and more bloody students! Yawn. Hire them while they still know it all.

I was once fooled by the huge mirrors to the left on entering this place nearer the bar (probably had a bit too much to drink!), as I thought it was another part of Baa Bar!

I like the unisex toilets up the stairs above the bar (good view across the place from here as well), which a bit like the unisex area in Bar 38 toilets, is always entertaining for a bit of banter with women. Shooters for 1 quid is the main attraction of this place for me, though when I have been here on a Saturday night after 9, it has always been well packed and can take a while to get served. As a result of how busy it can get, the place becomes quite hot as well. Other than the huge mirrors, I do not recall much about the decor!

Still well worth a visit when on Deansgate Locks though for the offers on shooters. Not so great for the H-File search on a Saturday night however, given how difficult it is to move around.

hi, i actually work for baa bar on deansgate locks and want to comment on the 'rohypnol country' dig. In ever bar and club you have to watch drinks nowadays. In three years of working there i have never seen anyone spiked, there are too many cameras everywhere in a small space for anyone to get away with it.which then makes me wonder if this person taht commented thinks it is indeed 'rohypnol country' how they came to that conclusion and if they saw anything why nothing was said to the doormen or the staff.
I would then like to say to adrienne, yes lloyd was great, hes left now, but he was the coolest ever and he always had a lil smile on his face.
To sandy, our dj's are ace, theyre dead friendly and they teak requests yeah.
And finally i would like to say, we're cheap, we're cheerful and all the staff love working there and believe it or not, like looking after our customers. i would also like to add, i only work there, im not a manager or anything. just so everyone knows. ok!!!! love u all ,shelly xxxxx

I love baa bar! No attitudes or 10 bob wide boys. Nice music too, a nice change from funky house all night, the DJs even take requests.

Went to this bar the other week. Full of wide boys and slappers. Which is fair enough, but was also rohypnol country. Honestly ladies, watch your drinks in this place. Some very dodgy characters hanging about in the wings waiting to pounce.
