The Barley Mow, Broomhill

Have been in several times in the past few months for drinks and/or food and have always it to be a pleasant experience. The staff have always been friendly and efficient. The food has always been worth the price. We've been twice for Tapas night on Tuesday and found the food to be good and portions more than adequate. The outdoor seating area is very appealing as well.

The Crown and Anchor, Wimborne

As of April 2011, the Crown and Anchor appears to be closed.

The Albion Hotel, Wimborne

The Albion was damaged in a fire in July of 2009. It is currently closed. Rumor has it that the reconstruction is to be completed in summer of 2010. Not sure what will happen once the rebuilding is done.
It's too bad because I believe the place was under new management before the fire and my experiences there in spring 2009 were good. The bar staff were friendly and the food was reasonably priced with good quality.
