First visit here, realised what we've been missing. A really nice proper pub. 4 real ales (Vale from up the road, Teignmouth and York breweries) lovely atmosphere (no music, tv, quiz machines etc) and nice ordinary seats/tables with cribbage boards and dominos at many.
Really looking forward to next time, hope the house beer is on then!

As the last review - quit worrying about the interior, this is a cracking pub. 11 beers straight from the barrell including 4 Milds (for May) and only 2.50 per pint with your CAMRA card. Genial Landlord who takes his job of checking all the beers very seriously. Abslolutely marvellous!!

Fabulous traditional pub, on CAMRA inventory of interiors worthy of preservation. Excellent Stonehouse beer plus changing guest. Music on Thursday and Friday evenings. Only pity is it's not open Monday or Tuesday, what are the locals playing at!
