The Fox and Hounds, Romney Street
Sunday Lunch as ever was very very busy and a great atmosphere, we (4 of us) were lucky enough to eat in their lovely beer garden after a nice walk up from Otford. Two of us had the famous "Fox Roast Beef" and the other two had the half roast chicken, washed down with a few pints of very well kept Skinner's Betty Stoggs.
Their annual beer & music festival is on the 28th 29th & 30th August Bank Holiday Weekend.
Last years was absolutely fantastic, we have been told that they are having about 25-30 real ales and ciders 10 live bands a bbq every day and a hog roast on the Sunday.
They have really made this into a great pub keep up the good work

The Fighting Cocks, Horton Kirby
The staff are rude and very miserable, They have such stupid rules that must not be broken otherwise you will be asked to leave the premises.
Everyone must wear tops in the garden even right down by river! You can only have certain menus in certain places, no tabs if you are sitting in the garden it just goes on and on and on.
The food is only at best mediocre and over priced same as the beers and lager. There are plenty of other good pubs in the region without having to bother the staff here with our patronage!!

This is a return visit for me and much improved well done.

OMG who done the interior design it is so ghastly. Who has swags and tails now adays!! The food is probably the worst I have eaten in a long time I have barred myself from it!

We thought this would be a beautiful country pub on the inside but it is very tired and in need of a refurb. Food ws average.

What a dump! Not friendly in any shape or form. Dark and dingy with a 80s feel.

Looks ok from the outside but that is it really. Really boring and tired inside. Food was of cheap quality. I would not bother again.

Food was very BLAND and the staff were not at all welcoming. Quite over rated we thought.

The Fox and Hounds, Romney Street
The Fox and Hounds is a great pub. It also has a fantastic restaurant. Staff are very good. Loads of car parking and a really nice large beer garden.
We will definately be returning, if you have not been here yet you must go!

The Farmers Inn, Scaynes Hill
Very poorly run we turned up for our pre-booked Christmas dinner to be told there has been a booking error and no Christmas dinner what a joke.
We had to put up with the bar menu until we complained and managed to get food from the evening menu but half the items were not available!!!!!!
Don't bother trying this pub until it changes hands again and it will based on the service we received!!
