Totally agree with mypride. Its a brewery run pub, Mitchell and Butler I believe. I just cannot understand why they seem to refuse basic funding of this (used to be) lovely old pub in a brilliant location. Lack of glasses, basic drinks - Brandy?? Cleaners, etc etc. The list goes on. Not to mention a decent permanent landlord/lady. Shame.

The guy that runs the bar is the rudest/snootiest I have ever come across. Also the drinks prices are very high. You have been warned.

Agree with last comment. Sadly gone downhill since Bev left. New management (if you can call it that) are lazy, rude, usually drunk and the place is a mess. The new young staff are clueless behind the bar half the time. Such a shame for this lovely old pub in a great location in an up and coming area.

**Newsflash** Hey - guess what, they've put in someone who cares. New manager since 1 week. Clean gents toilets! (why couldn't previous 'managers have done that??) No more stale smells! Correct beer glasses! Decent smart bar staff! Wonders will never cease. I really hope this is not a flash in the pan, all those unhappy punters that left - come back and check it out. This could be the beginning of geting the Albion back to being a half decent pub again.
