The Old Custom House Hotel, Padstow
Nice place. Both times I've been to Padstow have headed here. Gorgeous food and a nice pint. The conservatory is the best place to sit with some great views of the harbour.

It's haunted. Which is kind of cool. The missus used to work there and regularly strange things like pints just falling over happened - lound bagings etc.. (Personally this is normal for all pubs isn't it? ;) )
Otherwise jus yer average pub.

Ridiculously hard pub quiz though! Still its good for exercising the brain. Great pub.

The pub quix on tuesday is one of the best - if for the curry at the end of it. Nice pub love the ship stylings. Sadly its the other end of town for me so have to be going there on purpose rather than the random nights.

For me, 8 years or so this was the pub. Always sarted the night here. Loved it. Now I avoid. It's completely lost it. Such a shame.

OK pub. But it's the McDonalds of the pub world. Mind you good for a cheap nihgt out. The chinese and curry nights are excellent value but the rest of the menu is hit an miss. Shame really a few years back I'd ahve rated Wetherspoons as brilliant but they have slipped lately.

I disagree with the comments below - while the pub its self is ok the food is dire. Cheap yes but why? Simple they just load your plate with far too many soggy tasteless chips. I've been a few times and each time its got progressively worse so have stopped going. A shame really as the first visit I'd have rated it as excellent.

Gorgeous gorgeous food - and great portions. It is a cosy - almost dated pub I guess but I agree with Vicky the food is fantastic!

During the day is great with some of the best pub grub in Hereford. During the night though the posters below aren't wrong...

Swan Hotel, Wadebridge
Had an ok meal here in 2003. Nice pint. But as others have said could be so much more. THere was a random drunk muttering about aliens and fairys too which didn't really help.
