| Probably the largest pub in Padstow and seemingly the only choice if you want to watch the football (as I did on this occasion). It's ok for that as well. Projection screen in one room and a separate large flatscreen in the main bar. Welcome was very friendly and the beer (St Austells) good. | Pleasant enough pub on a prime spot overlooking the harbour. Quite a large and spacious pub with beamed ceilings and a relaxing area with sofa's and a fire (not in use today, but it's the middle of summer! Not sure if it's used in the winter). | Had a drink in here. No welcome from barman apart from a quick awright? yeh? I didn't feel like risking an ale so had a carlsberg. This pub was dirty and I wouldn;t risk eating here so went elsewhere instead I didn't use the toilets I give it 3/10 cornwalltour2008 - 23 Jul 2008 00:21 |
