Probably the largest pub in Padstow and seemingly the only choice if you want to watch the football (as I did on this occasion). It's ok for that as well. Projection screen in one room and a separate large flatscreen in the main bar. Welcome was very friendly and the beer (St Austells) good. Didn't try the food (unless you count a packet of Nobby's Nuts !) but it looked pretty decent. I'd come back.

Pleasant enough pub on a prime spot overlooking the harbour. Quite a large and spacious pub with beamed ceilings and a relaxing area with sofa's and a fire (not in use today, but it's the middle of summer! Not sure if it's used in the winter).
Four beers on tap (all St. Austells) plus Blackthorn and Cornish Rattler ciders.

Pub is a bit bland, but beer was good and very good service.

Had a drink in here. No welcome from barman apart from a quick awright? yeh? I didn't feel like risking an ale so had a carlsberg. This pub was dirty and I wouldn;t risk eating here so went elsewhere instead
I didn't use the toilets

I give it 3/10

Not a patch on The London Inn. A bland place catering for the easily pleased.
(Jollyjones & Tommytit (similar names, writing style and similar spelling errors, and both joined today!) seem to be easily pleased...)
Cheers,
