Leopardstown Inn, Dublin, Ireland

Bizarre theme pub.

Its most redeeming feature is the rotating bar. *Really* confused me after a few pints of Guinness.

Plan B, Warsaw

First-floor studenty pub.

Does fantastic cheese toasties & the beer's cheap! Also has free wireless.

The Poachers Arms, Hope

Now owned by Punch, the pub's been completely refurbished.

You'll be pleased to know that this included the rooms & the gents toilets :-)

Gniazdo Piratow, Warsaw

Decked out like a pirate ship, serving booze by the litre while a Polish chap sings shanty songs on the stage.

Surreal, but a damn good laugh!

Bar Below, Warsaw

Current bar of choice in Warsaw.

Friendly landlord (Irish Niall) and staff, the best English breakfast in Warsaw and an entertaining random mixture of expats and locals.

Serves Murphy's, Zywiec and Carlsberg on tap, plus the best mojitos you'll ever taste.

It's also just started serving roast dinners on Sundays.

Morgan's, Warsaw

Rumour has it that this place has now closed. I'll investigate asap...

Browarmia Krolewska, Warsaw

Nice microbrewery - The beers are all top notch.

Just a shame that the staff made us sit outside. Do you want to be a microbrewery or a restaurant ffs?!

Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Inn, Castleton

Currently up for sale....

25 Oct 2005 15:49

Cork Irish Pub, Warsaw

No longer owned by Irish Kevin and doesn't appear to have a Sky decoder any more....

22 Jun 2005 13:53

Iguana Lounge, Warsaw

Excellent food, top cocktails and a cracking atmosphere.

Now one of my favourite bars in Warsaw.

5 May 2005 15:08

Champions Sports Bar, Warsaw

Tends to be full of American tourists watching rounders^WBaseball, American Football etc.

NoBo, Warsaw

Very good food and an excellent, relaxed atmosphere.

Live DJs on Friday & Saturday nights.

I just wish they'd stop having private parties on Saturday nights! Bah.

Bia Hoi, Sheffield

I'll never tire of the Revolution chain.

Genius!

12 Jan 2004 16:09

Central Fire Station, Sheffield

One of my favourite pubs.

A half being the same price as a pint did confuse me though.....

8 Jan 2004 16:02

Corney and Barrow, Old Broad Street

One of the bar staff is incredibly good looking.

24 Oct 2003 00:09

The Narrow Street Pub & Dining Room, Limehouse

Definately competing for the "most expensive burger & chips in the world" record.

Damn good home-made burgers though!

10 Sep 2003 18:15

Fuel Bar, Covent Garden

Evil (but tasty) cocktails.

Late license, food served until ~midnight, cosy balcony overlooking Covent Garden.

Better than the rest of the crap in the area :)

25 Jul 2003 19:56

The White Hart, New Cross

The only good thing about this boozer is the 1.50 Guinness....

19 Jul 2003 11:57

Printworks, Clerkenwell

One of the better 'spoons boozers.

Nice and cosy.

2 Jun 2003 10:33

The Bull And Mouth, Holborn

Very very slow food service.

1 Jun 2003 19:33

Kingsfield Arms, Harrow

Very much a local's pub. Has "character" (ie: in need of more than just a lick of paint).

21 Apr 2003 20:28

The Tap 'n' Tumbler, Nottingham

The regulars aren't welcoming to people that have washed recently.

21 Apr 2003 15:31

The Hole In The Wall, Waterloo

Does possibly the best pub food ever.

17 Apr 2003 12:53

The Emperor, Cambridge

Cracking home made Sunday roasts.

7 Apr 2003 13:03

Bradleys, Fitzrovia

Tiny pub, hiding down a dodgy street next to Center Point. Has Bitburger, San Miguel and Cruzcampo on tap.

26 Mar 2003 16:20

The Bell Inn, Nottingham

Since my previous visit a while back they've "refurbished" the back bar, completely ruining what used to be a cracking pub.

:-(

21 Mar 2003 10:02

Cucamara, Nottingham

As a 6th-former I spent many a Friday night drinking vast amounts of tequila in this bar.

20 Mar 2003 12:42

The Silver Cross, Whitehall

They have Beck's on tap! :)

20 Feb 2003 15:25

The Hole In The Wall, Waterloo

Damn you and your guest beers!

14 Feb 2003 16:07

Revolution Bar, Soho

Watch out for the 79% vodka! Does good food & lots of different flavoured vodkas. Book a table in advance if you expect to sit down!

18 Jan 2003 14:59

The Northumberland Arms, Fitzrovia

They could do with turning the heating on!

12 Jan 2003 16:55

The Albany, Great Portland Street

Has Leffe on tap. Dammit!

12 Jan 2003 16:55

The Arrow, Arnold

It was much better before they knocked it down & rebuilt it!

30 Dec 2002 16:38

Yates's, Leicester Square

Frequented by "jail bait" and clueless tourists.

Open late on Friday & Saturday night.
