Fantastic bar, friendly and full of bohemian characters. Always pop in here when on Oxford St. jamieb2012 - 9 May 2012 01:56
Always a great night out. Interesting characters, friendly staff and fantastic beer. A safe haven in the heart of London. mabrown1979 - 13 Oct 2011 18:53
I used to visit this bar every three or four months when in town. I loved it. I have introduced many friends and family members to its charms, and enjoyed a memorable birthday there some months ago. I will, however, no longer be a Bradley's customer following an incident over the summer where I was subjected to a completely unprovoked verbal attack by a member of staff. This man mistakenly accused me of banging on the jukebox, but did so by shouting at me in my face at the top of his voice. He didn't even say he was am employee at first. His manner was aggressive and intimidating. Shaken, and feeling quite threatened, I informed the manager about his behaviour. The manager, however, did not repspond to my complaint and instead began to give me tips on how to work the jukebox. At this point the original employee appeared and proceeded to shout at me once more, except even more aggressively this time. When I continued to complain to the manager, he said, bafflingly, "Well, if you think we are being so rude to you, then maybe you should leave." Feeling both threatened by the original member of staff, and completely ignored by the management, I was by now feeling quite unsafe, so I left. But not before the first employee had decided to shout at me and my by now frightened companion yet again and steal our drinks before we had finished them. I have since written twice to the Manager to complain and he has dealt with the matter with a staggering lack of sensitivity and zero professionalism. No action has been taken against the aggressive member of staff, apart from "we had a word with him", and no apology given to me except "we are sorry you feel that way." After I left Bradley's that evening I discovered the Endurance in Berwick Street. If you want a fun, friendly pub with a jukebox, and to enjoy your evening without being abused by members of staff, then I suggest you by-pass Bradley's and go there instead. seasideandy - 2 Oct 2011 20:32
One of my favourite pubs of all time. Now, this tiny little pub will not be to everyone's taste but the Spanish beer is welcome and the atmosphere and truly eclectic music on the ancient jukebox is what it's all about. Just to reiterate a recent poster, food is not served here though if the other recent poster experienced some kind of timewarp that dropped them back 10 years or so it would of course have been possible to grab some taps. In such a timeless establishment, anything is possible.... Be prepared to squeeze in as tight as possible on the limited seating, that's the way it works here, and meet your fellow drinkers in a way that just doesn't happen anywhere else. The toilets are also just part of the experience. Unique. bobbyblah - 1 Jul 2011 21:38
Food? What food? I think the people below must be mixed up with somewhere else. This pub is a crusty hole in the wall with good beers and an excellent jukebox. Not the nicest toilets - but who cares... the atmosphere and music make up for that. If you want to here crappy popular music then go somewhere else. This place is a true gem. niaoz72 - 30 May 2011 00:51
