| Been coming here for years and I must say you cannot beat Bradley's for catching up with old mates. Very social seating set up and of course Budvar on tap which is very rare. Was suprised to see the new lager arrivals last I was in London: Becks and Heineken. I would have hoped for Pilsner Urquell which would have made this place the ultimate. | Cracking Pub. Great central location, Becks AND Budvar on tap, good crowd. The basement bar is the best, dark, dingy and full of atmosphere. Probably the best jukebox in London (old school, none of your internet mullarky and a small but quality selection of tracks). The gents STINK! - but hey - its a pub, get over it. mauteek - 8 Nov 2007 14:37 |
| Love it love it love it. Bloody fantastic little bar - definitely one of the best the Wild West End has to offer whether for a "swift one" after shopping or a proper session (and the former has a habit of becoming the latter in here), whether al fresco on the street or in the depths of the basement bar. You will enjoy yourself whether you like it or not. Just don't tell anyone about it OK? It gets quite crowded enough as it is... tim_eyles - 2 Jul 2007 17:51 |
| A remarkably good bar, especially given the unpreposessing location. A good range of lagers and an outstanding jukebox - covering everything from Nina Simone to the Pistols - make up for the timewarp toilets, which could be used as location for Life on Mars. marqueemoon - 29 Mar 2007 17:30 |
| An amzing gem this, complete with an old 7" jukebox with some classic vinyl. A tiny street level bar and a slightly larger cellar bar. Not really like anywhere else, and reminds you there are some classic places tucked away everywhere in London, even right behind the bland corporate strip of Oxford Street round the corner. Had a good pint of Bittburger. Of course real ale would be a bonus but then it is a Spanish bar! OldRogue - 28 Dec 2006 13:58 |
