The Barley Mow, Warrington

Nice building but that's about all it seems to have to offer. Dark and Dingy inside. They have lots of real ale hand pumps but only one in use. It did not entice me to stay.

The Lower Angel, Warrington

Real old fashioned beer drinker pub. One to visit for the real ale drinkers. Micro Brewery due later in 2009.

Porter's Ale House, Warrington

A contender for the Good pub guide 2010

Up there with The Albion, The Tavern and Now porters.
One of a few freehouses doing more than one ore two real ales.

Well done and keep it up.

Oh and the price. �1.80 a pint.......

This pub is now in the good pub guide. It does real food, is installing a brewery.
Everything you could want in a local! A lovely building with a courtyard beer garden.
