Now apparently sold again. Good luck to the new owners. Let's keep hoping it will get the TLC it deserves and reopen sooner rather than later.

Sadly this pub has now closed and was boarded up when I passed today. It is for sale as a freehouse and I hope it finds a new owner soon and doesn't remain one of the sad casualties of this recession like so many other pubs around the country.

Just gone up for sale again. Don't know what happened to the first buyers, they seemed full of ideas but never got there. Now with luck someone will reopen it and make it the great pub it has the potential to be

The Turks Head Hotel, Chickerell
What a lovely pub. Friendly and well presented. Good drinks and great food at really reasonable prices. The place was packed even on a Monday night and it deserves to be as well. Go there and you won't be disappointed.

This pub is under new management since it was last reviewed and from what I've seen I like it. The landlady and the staff are friendly and efficient and there is a lovely community atmosphere. The locals seem like a happy and friendly bunch. The bitter goes down well and theres a great pint of Oranjeboom to be had.The food is home cooked and well presented and there is plenty to choose from with a great roast offering on sundays. I shall be using it regularly even rhough it isn't local to me because it is worth the trip.

The Middle House Hotel, Mayfield
What a fantastic pub. The best kept pub garden I have ever seen. A lovely building and the most fantastic food. Have the steak and ale pie, it's awesome!

Sadly this pub is currently closed as the landlord retired and Shepherd Neame in their wisdom decided to sell it. There are loads of rumours about what will happen but I have a feeling it might just reopen soon with some albeit familiar new faces. Watch this space would be the best advice!!!

I go here quite a lot and I find all the staff really friendly and helpful so I dont really know what Bobinmans on about.

Apparently its all change at this pub. It seems Shepherd Neame have sold out to up and coming Westerham Brewery and their great beers like Finchcoks and Bulldog are going to be on tap. Can't wait. The staff and management are all staying so the same good old pub but better beer!

The Crown Court Cafe Bar, Dunoon
Went in last Sunday late afternoon. Very quiet but barman really friendly and accommodating. Real ales very good as well as a nice pint of lager. A nice menu with some interesting items. Will go back here.

wonderful,was invited to wine tasting evening,all free of charge,free food and good company. THIS IS A REAL COUNTRY PUB WITH REAL COUNTRY VALUES .

Lovely pub with top landlady who looks like shirley bassey. Also has the presence and appeal of a real star person. Good food and beer and an all round friendly pub

The Four Elms Inn, Four Elms
An interesting and unusual pub with much to recommend it. Apparently now a freehouse rescued from a pub company by a local businessman, this is run under lease by experienced local publicans.Four real ales including local Larkins Traditional and Long Man Sussex Best. Traditional pub food at realistic prices makes this a place to stop for a bite to eat without breaking the bank. Nice. Landlord tells me they are redeveloping an area of the garden into a petanque pitch so will be back for beer and boules in the garden.
