Bishop Out Of Residence, Kingston Upon Thames

wonderful pub to visit and people watch from the front seating area. but do not visit if you're drinking on a budget! you won't get much change from 10 for two drinks!

The Alexandra, Wimbledon

this is a great pub - the quality of the beer is good and reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is always friendly. well done youngs.

The Canbury Arms, Kingston Upon Thames

I've just returned from a lovely night in the Canbury Arms. Our drinks (although slightly overpriced) were served efficiently by the friendly staff, and my husband was very pleased with the quality of the beer. I think this is one pub which we will certainly try again!

The Boaters Inn, Kingston Upon Thames

I absolutely adore this place. There is simply no better pub in the area to sit and enjoy the good weather in. They offer a nice wine selection and my husband thoroughly enjoys the locally sourced 'Twickenham Ales' which they have on offer. My only qualm is that on busier periods they provide you with plastic cups rather than glasses to drink your wine out of if you choose to sit out in the gardened area.

The Cardinal, Kingston Upon Thames

This pub is my 'local', but unfortunately it is a pub which we find ourselves bypassing on a frequent basis recently. My husband and I used to visit here two to three times a week, and we loved the food and the general atmosphere of the place, but recently the pub seems to have become more and more dishevelled - the decor is old and tired, the wine is overpriced and children run riot around the place well into the evening. The pub's saving grace is its bar star Jason - a young aussie guy who always smiling and happy to help. We do continue to visit the Cardinal, but more out of convenience than choice.

The New Inn, Ham

This pub has to be the most beautiful and quaint looking in Ham! Not the liveliest place to visit on a friday night, and it can be quite expensive depending on what your tipple is, but it has a fantastically warm and friendly atmosphere - and my hubby (an ale drinker) often comments on how well the beer is kept.

The Hand and Flower, Ham

My friends and I come to this place on a regular basis - we just can't get enough of the food. They offer a fantastic 5 lunch menu, but we most frequently visit on Tuesday when they have a steak night on for 10 which includes your meal and a drink too! This isn't a pub that I would necessarily visit solely for a drink, but I think they have found the right balance between the drinkers and the eaters. The only complaint that I have is that there have been two occasions where I have had to return my glass of wine because it tasted slightly vinegary, but on both occasions the staff have been more than happy to replace my glass with a fresh one.
