Good if unspectacular pub on the riverfront. Beer is pretty good and the view is even better. Best not to come here for a quiet drink on a Summer Sunday though as its rammed! Oakman100 - 27 Jan 2010 19:10
Reasonable range of Youngs beers but the pub doesn't have a lot of character being a pretty well corporate brick building from the 1980s along what in Kingston passes for a riverfront. rainlight - 9 Jan 2010 17:48
Pint of Kew Gold was good, but I wasn't impressed by the fact that the steak sandwich was made with two pieces of supermarket sliced white, slightly stale around the edges, and soggy from the salad dressing that had been carelessly splashed everywhere. Come here for a drink by the river, sure, but you might want to eat somewhere else. joeymahone - 27 Jul 2009 14:10
Nasty concrete monstrosity. Directors was freezing and the staff were awful. Chatting away and chewing gum and disinterested in customers. Just like it's location this place is dreadful. nickthefish - 8 Jun 2009 16:19
This place is now run by a guy called Tony and in my experience, he’s doing a good job. The staff seem friendly and happy to be there, the ale is well served (at the right temperature) and the food enjoyable. There are a couple of hostelries nearby with an inflated opinion of themselves - and inflated prices to match - but the Bishop is a good, honest, decent pub in a great location. aleinspector - 17 Apr 2009 11:24
