Had a nice pint in here on a Friday lunchtime. Lively, not too busy. Could have a conversation. One minor complaint, don’t have football on big screens if it’s an obscure Spanish game. You didn’t look overly full of Spanish supporters!

Staff looked a little shocked to see 6 people coming in on a Monday afternoon! Only the one pint was taken here as time was short. The food looked tempting but I think I'd wait until a busier day before eating here.

First review for a few years and I have to say the staff were anything but bored. Only had one pint here but it was a pleasant atmosphere and if I'd had more time I'd have definitely stayed longer.

Another first for the day was my visit here. Due to the rugby at the weekend there was only the one bitter on but the lack of choice was more than made up for by the conversation with the landlady.

Excellent recommendations from the staff led to two untried bitters being taken. If you're thinking of going here then leave room for a most excellent pork pie, pickled onions and mustard. Good jukebox with unusual selection of music.

My first visit here yesterday. A labyrinth of corridors with snugs leading off. A nice pint of bitter to slake my thirst. Definitely be coming here again.

The Yorkshire House, Shrewsbury
Whenever I go for a pint in Shrewsbury I always start here. Good selection of ales, great jukebox and friendly staff. What more could you ask for?
