| Decent Wetherspoons pub but now generally playing second fiddle to Montgomery's Tower. Came here yesterday afternoon and enjoyed 3 pints of Jenning's Cocker Hoop Ale which were very good. Staff were quite friendly and the atmosphere OK (no music in JDW pubs obviously). Food also looked pretty appetizing too. A good place to be wined and dined, but it seems not as good as the new kid on the block, Montgomery's Tower. SilentButDeadly - 1 Nov 2009 11:41 |
