Expensive and small portions. Although it was not busy it was a struggle to get through the door and to the bar as unwelcoming locals form a bit of barricade after polite excuse me managed to get them to move about an inch. Shame nice location

If you like amber coloured malty beers then this is the pub to go, if you like anything light golden and hoppy then make sure you are in then secret gang. Recommendations are only given on the beers that need to be got rid of. Which is shame because some of light beers are excellent, but when they do come on they�re gone in minutes as the select few customers have been drinking them for a day privately .

Yes does seem to be under new management. Has always been a good pub beers are excellent kept to a very high standard also staff very friendly and helpful. Food is very reasonable price with good a selection and ever changing specials .my only ten out of ten pub.

Excellent pint of guardsmen. nice pub, would like to point out that this was a pub and not Wembley Arena why in such a pub does the band have to play so loud (with amps) it made your ears hurt and made it impossible to have any sort conversation(also seated as far away as possible) .would have spent a lot more time and money there otherwise. Nothing against music I enjoy live music in a pub but does it have to be so LOUD.

Good beer . Basic food was a bit disappointing . Bar area is very nice but when busy you have to eat in cold no atmosphere dinning area.

The Olde Plough Inn, Bere Ferrers
Excellent . We have been visiting this pub for many years now and seen it change hands few times . I hope the present team stay as it is now at its best. Very good food reasonable price especially for fish dishes, Warm welcome and good beer. Just wish we could get there more often.

What absolute pleasure to visit this family run pub very welcoming and friendly . Beer was excellent lunchtime baguettes where perfect . Also it has felling of time travel about it well worth a visit.
