Lord Arthur Lee, Fareham

I thought Wetherspoons had a policy where they were encouraged to buy local produce especially real ales. The only local ale was Hampshire - what about Oakleaf, Bowman and all the local GOOD beer!!!

The Cuckoo Pint, Stubbington

is this place still open????

The Crofton, Stubbington

On the outside it looks like a dodgey estate pub but it's worth going in to sample the food and excellent beers, especially Oakleaf's Hole Hearted!

The Rockstone, Southampton

Under new management AGAIN some of the real ales from Oakleaf have vanished which is a shame but you can still get a good pint of Nuptu'ale.

The Osborne View, Fareham

Stunning views and good food if you go when it's quiet!!! Great if you can sit outside but otherwise you will feel obliged to eat! Usual bland Hall and Woodhouse beer and slow service

The Golden Bowler, Stubbington

A good drinkers pub but the food is pretty basic and the decor could do with a bit of love. Beers well kept but not enough local beers!!!

The Cricketers, Southampton

As the ex landlady I am obviously biased, yes service can be a bit slow but it's a popular place and well worth a visit. There is a real ale festival at the end of this month with Oakleaf beers and many other regional ales to sample. The food is still great and be sure to visit in the winter for a Sunday Roast - still the best in Southampton!

The Guide Dog, Bevois Valley

Although not the ONLY freehouse in Southampton (I agree you have to hunt high and low) the Guide dog is great to sample a fantastic range of beers from regional brewers. With a selection from Gosports Oakleaf brewery you can't go wrong!

The Seahorse, Gosport

This pub has just had a refurb and continues to serve great food using local produce. Oakleaf beers are now available in the bar and restaurant.
