The Halfway House, Earlsfield

I have to agree with mrloftyson. The serving area is too small so you end up waiting for ages. On top of that a large glass of house white wine was over 6 which is too expensive.

The actual pub is nice and the service is friendly (once you get to the bar)

The Windmill on the Common, Clapham Common

What a great location but so overpriced!

The Chandos, Trafalgar Square

This is one of my favourite pubs in London. Its cheap, great location, the staff are friendly and I've never had a problem getting a booth or table. Cheers!

The Calf, Clapham

Although the food is not the best, the friendly staff, great beer and wine selection and comfy seats make up for it.

Project Orange, Battersea

Ive been going to Project Orange for a couple of years now. Its a great pub with friendly staff and a great selection of beers and wine. The music is great and much better then anywhere on Northcote. Long live Project Orange

The Abbeville, Clapham South

I went to The Abbeville with a group for a friends birthday lunch and was extremely impressed. The waitress was friendly and returned after every course to check how the food was. The sausages and mash, steak and burgers were amazing although the lamb shank appeared to be mutton rather then lamb. For dessert the group either had the brownie and the banoffie pie - both were delicious. The wine menu was great with a large selection of both white and red from around the world.

My friends and I would highly recommend this pub for a relaxing lunch with friends.
