| Ridiculous! £4.80 for a pint of Meantime Pale Ale? The price was quoted with a straight face at 16:30, 14 December 2011. Earlsfield is in London, right? It's not like, it's been exported from The States. Nonetheless, nice pub, despite the small, congested, serving area, and the pretentious pricing of non-Youngs ales. Not a drinking man's pub. | Very disappointing to see that this pub has had a refurb but despite all of their cosmetic work they have not bothered to extend the bar serving area. The only problem with this pub is that the bar counter is too small and there is always a queue to get a pint. What a waste of an opportunity! mrloftysson - 20 Nov 2011 14:25 |
| Popped in for a half and to ask directions.Very friendly East European girl gave me perfect directions. The bitter was good too.But i left wandering do Youngs have any traditional pubs left ? Or have they all gone gastro/upmarket ? boundsgreenboy - 14 May 2011 13:53 |
| I see and hear alot of people moaning that this pub is very expensive or the food is awfull but they always packed.... they must be doing something right!!!! sergioramos - 11 Sep 2010 14:57 |
| I have to agree with mrloftyson. The serving area is too small so you end up waiting for ages. On top of that a large glass of house white wine was over £6 which is too expensive. The actual pub is nice and the service is friendly (once you get to the bar) ljones00 - 16 Aug 2010 15:31 |
