Found this pub on our first night of camping nearby, never needed another as the food,beer and staff were all excellent, many thanks and keep up the good work.

Could do better, accomadation is just ok, carvery acceptable, closed at 10pm ????????

The Sportsman, Amberley

Our first stay here, halfway stop on our cycle along the sdw (19/05/09), first class accomadation 4+ real beers, friendly staff, lovely food, keep up the good work. many thanks for a lovely and enjoyable visit. trevor & peter

The Foresters Arms, East Hoathly

clean & tidy with helpfull staff but lacks atmostphere, however a great pint of harveys.

The Kings Head, East Hoathly

Tried this pub recently having tasted there "signature" ale at the beer eastbourne festival, although very slow to get a beer it was worth the wait.

Trevor Arms, Glynde

Very pleasant traditional pub, lovely pint of harveys and a warm welcome, will be returning soon.

The Foresters Arms, East Hoathly

Surprisingly quiet on our visit (sunday), however haveys was lovely and staff polite and helpfull, would recommend but a definate lacks atmostphere.

The Flying Fish, Newhaven

nice clean pub,Unfortunately no local harveys ales, however an acceptable pint of spitfire obtained,as walkers we were welcomed & landlady seemed fine to me (see previous post). would recommend.

The Anchor Inn, Ringmer

Harveys straight from the barrel,clean and unpretentious,as walkers we were welcomed by friendly staff,i'd imagine this is a great summer venue,recommended.
