Average quality ex-freezer food. Limited selection of beers. No local cider.

Fountain Inn, Oldwood St Michaels
Had a really nice dinner here plus a decent pint. Prices in line with quality. Nicely furnished. Would definately go here again when next in the area. Is the old bloke still sitting outside or have they brought him in yet?

This place used to be a dreadful Brewer's Fayre but is now much more pleasant and up-market. Good food and beer at reasonable prices in very pleasant surroundings. Staff can, sometimes, leave a little to be desired but not too bad.

Average food, mostly out of the freezer. Very poor chips. Reasonable setting. Service average.

Very reasonably priced food with a vast selection. Large portions. Lovely salads but awful chips.
Good selection of drinks (although a little on the expensive side).
Friendly service.
Good stop for A1 travellers.
