| This is a real old fashioned pub, which will sell you food on the quiet if you really must eat! It is small with a real inglenook fire, which chucks out plenty of heat. It has a cosy local ambience with a good crowd of regulars. The ales are superb, the pub having won the Cask Marque in successive years.There is normally a gest ale of some sort.
