Worth noting that this pub has recently upgraded its restaurant facilities. I have yet to try them but early reports are promising.

this has probably been done out of necessity rather than expediency as this remains a proper traditional pub for drinking beer in. The landlord rightly takes great trouble and pride over the condition of his beers, which can include some surprising and unusual guest ones. Ever a favourite of mine!

Food very average, service slow, nice setting, good range of beers.

Just spent a delightful time eating an enormous great quality Sunday lunch Pork and beef combined Yorkshire Pudding/stuffing, freshly cooked cabbage, swede and carrots -with original sumptious homegrade gravy, no Bisto didn't get a look in

IPA well kept

A well managed delightful Pub

A traditional country pub with character. Food ok.

When we visited, it was crowded and smoky with locals watching a football match. Our sunday roasts were mediocre - the standard Brake Bros style pub grub. Service was cheerful if slightly incompetent.
