The Erris Tavern, North Finchley

Nice little pub, music was a touch loud when the DJ started up, but I had the best Guiness I've had in a long long time here.
Staff kept the place picked up and other than the toliets being a little 'cozy' its got a lot to offer.

The Brewmaster, Leicester Square

two story pub with the toliets on the landing inbetween.
Food was unremarkable but the waitress was cute.
Drink prices were about normal for the area.

The Chequers Inn, Ightham

Nice clean pub in the middle of town, not too far from the park. Quiet on a saturday despite the game being on. Looks to have a seperate section for smoking too.

The Lord Raglan, St Pauls

not a bad place and not too crowded considering its location. My roast was spot on, but the burger was a bit tough according to my mate.
Guest ales and usual fare, upstairs can be hired out.
Bigger on the inside than it looks.

The Fox, Hanwell

An old gent walking along the canal recommended this pub. He was right.
I enjoyed the decor, and the food was good (including proper handcut chips) two types of cider on tap; Thatcher's Gold and Strongbow. Tim Taylor was ordered a lot while I was there, and some London Pride. The telly's could be a bit bigger, but the pub isn't laid out well for more than 6 or so people to watch. A good spot to stop as you walk the canal. I will be back.

The Angel, Thames Ditton

I liked this place, its sprawling and been added onto. The food was good, the fireplace warm and the pub dogs friendly. It looks like the pub all the london pubs try to be like :). Wish I'd seen it in its heydays.

Definitely coming back for more.

The Captains Cabin, Piccadilly

Consistently the best pub I've visited over the past 4 years. Guest ales and good staff. Food isn't bad either. Its busy as the queue into Hell after work though!

The Silver Cross, Whitehall

Bigger inside than it looks.
Staff handled our large group with little problem.
Drinks standard for the area. A nice pub actually, once the 'after fives' left.

The Salusbury, Kilburn

nice decor, not too smoky, seperate eating room. Crowded but a bit of space if you look around. Carries Asfall Sussex Cyder, which will sneak up on you. I had a good experience even if I didn't meet the people I went there to find.
