Captain's Cabin is closed :( Another nice little pub nearby is Two Chairmen, just off Cockspur St- go down Haymarket, take a left, then a right down the alley type road next to Thai Square!

Hi please someone help me. I have today found out that this pub is to be demolished. I am not from London. My grandfather used to manage this pub years and years ago he lived here and told of many many memories. He was called Bill. Sadly he is no longer with us due to a divide in our families and a complicated sotuation I only have one photpgraph of him. He loved this place. I am sad tjat it is closing but my father is devestated. My dad has nothing other than a few oldies blurry photographs and memories of him.My paremts cant afford to travel to london regular however they have been there recently and my dad said sittimg in this pub was the closest thng to feeling near his dad as hed had in ages. I am wantimg to know if i could get hold of some kind of souvenir of tje pub. I have telephoned but i was told the managers away.I was told theres some mirrors with the pub logo on going to auction does anyone know where tjis auction is to take place ? I would be willing to purchase something like a sign however if thats not possible something as small n daft as a beer mat or pint glass woth tje logo on would be more than appreiciated. Idont know where to turn for help but i know if i co
