Whats the big deal about miserable staff? You work for a nazi for minimum wage minus a charge for a rusty auld bunk, you serve amateur would be comedians, drunks, perverts, foreigners with no English and answer stupid questions 12 hours a day and lets see you hop about like the Easter bunny. These people are entitled to hate you and be miserable. If your looking for mates over a counter your a freak, just say please, thank you and jog on. Congratulations to the staff for being so miserable, you show them!!! Good work.

I use this pub occasionally when I meet a friend for a quick drink after work. Seems a reasonable enough pub to me and so far I have found the staff to be fine. Remarkably uncrowded as well considering its location.

Billy Bragg had a regular gig here in the early 80's. People came from as far afield as Battersea. Hardly the Cavern, but still a minor slice of music history

Used to me an acceptable place for a pint at lunch / after work...but barmaid is now even more miserable than she was before, the microwave food has gone up in price & more importantly the beer price is now in line with the rest of London. My advice is to go elsewhere if you want some atmosphere...

Fairly ordinary pubco sort of place, Bomdardier and Courage on the pumps. Fairly touristy, but you'd expect that given the location.
