Visited on Saturday to meet friends and watch the Scotland v England rugby. Great atmosphere, not overcrowded but busy. Good food. London Pride excellent and at £3.75 not overpriced for Central London. Recommended. saphalanka - 6 Feb 2012 13:59

My post of 19 Jul 2010 may have been the last time I was in this place until last Friday and I am glad to report that it has kept up its standards. Again, an early visit when it was not too crowded but very brisk service, nice atmosphere and the menu looked extensive and reasonably priced. BUT, I think this was the first time, outside a hotel bar, that I have paid over four quid for a pint - £4.10 for Staropramen. guayabera - 11 May 2011 22:40
Great 'boozer' in central London. Hidden from the main street, so doesn't get all the tourists. Gets very busy, but the service is exceptional. Even when packed, you still get served within 5 mins. Something a lot of pubs can learn from! Has a range of real ales including a new guest ale every few days, and the usual lagers. altdorfs - 8 May 2011 13:19
Perfectly reasonable boozer in the heart of Piccadilly; quick, friendly service and good pint of Batemans Hooker, which I think was one of, or the, guest ale(s). Dartitis - 7 Mar 2011 14:19
