Not the best pub anywhere, but with regular useage, the booze is fine (especially cider) and many of the customers are interesting!

sorry to read the reviews of this once great pub, in the days of ted and molly, it was terrific, although the comments on the staff could be repeated even then, (not ncluding me of course)but charlie is ok,it's that woman who got up my nose.

the 'shant' as it is known by locals, it is believed this pub could never improve, as perfection is near here, fine choice of ales and ciders prices could be better, but who wouldn't pay top price for such well kept victuals

Great ale for Palmers brewery, poor choice of cider (blackthorn only) new tennants due soon, will post agan later.

good ale, choice of cider poor for west country pub, food quality (dingtechnology) and poor value for money, landlord booring, landlady never seen, (praise the lord).
