The George II, Luton

Even though you get a large number of teenagers in here it still feels like a comfortable place to spend an evening watching some decent live music.

The Gardener's Call, Luton

A pub that seems to be on the way up with a decent beer garden.

Four Horseshoes, Luton

An absolute hole of a place which is reserved for Irish alchoholics, so you can imagine the state of it. If you manage to drink a pint without spending the next 3 days on the loo then you are a better person than me.
I have been dragged in there many times over the years and spend most of my time fighting fly's off my drink and trying not to get into a conversation with the chaps in the loo's who enter the cubicles 4 at a time.

Charlie Brown's, Luton

Charlie B's is almost legendary at this stage. I can honestly say I've never had a bad night in there. There cannot be many nightclubs left that look and feel like this one these days. It feels like it should be in some back street of Cleveland or Chicago rather than Luton.

A nightclub for proper people!

Brookes, Luton

Always a good atmosphere in here at the weekends, great "date bar". It can get a bit packed in there at times but never seems to turn nasty as it can in other Luton hot spots.

The Painters Arms, Luton

The Painters is still going strong, although I have'nt actually been there for a while. A real locals pub but in a good way. Great pub for the winter and the Guinness is always good in there. No food on offer which is good because it does exactly what it says on the tin.

A real old school pub, long live The Painters.
