| Charlie B's is almost legendary at this stage. I can honestly say I've never had a bad night in there. There cannot be many nightclubs left that look and feel like this one these days. It feels like it should be in some back street of Cleveland or Chicago rather than Luton. A nightclub for proper people! dolfos - 15 Dec 2009 15:57 |
| This place is so chilled, even the hardned street fighter will find time to moon walk across the tiny downstairs dance floor. Downstairs reminds me of an old 70's underground soul club, well i guess it is because it has been around that long and never changed, and some of the faces have also been around to see the lack of change, only the fashions. Cool place nice staff and great set of punters which has not changed since i have been going there. Situated behind the Central station through a tiny door, make the visit, you will be back. | Actually I have to agree with the above poster. The complete lack of attitude and aggression is really striking. I cant think of anywhere else with this kind of atmosphere. I wish everywhere was like that. hjr2000 - 30 Oct 2005 17:07 |
| Earthy but honest club set back from the town centre playing some good tunes with total no hassle policy. Well impressed and very suprised on my first visit. Claire - 8 Oct 2003 08:37 |
| Long established slighty hidden from the main centre of Luton but well worth a visit on a friday night when the downstairs DJ plays the best old school soul tunes from the 80's. Upstairs US house and club classics. I was impressed by the total lack of aggression and by the general friendliness of the staff and punters. h.blunt - 7 Jun 2003 07:57 |
