The Lower Red Lion, St Albans

An excellent pub with a good selection of beers.
I was the only customer there and got served immediately. The barman then disappeared and shortly after, a couple came in and waited at the bar. After about five minutes with no sign of the barman, they walked out. This was about 3pm.

The Leg of Mutton and Cauliflower, Ashtead

Went there this afternoon, very quiet and got served immediately. Only one real ale on but it was excellent. A great pub.

The Kings Tun, Kingston Upon Thames

This is my second visit since the recent refurbishment and it has certainly improved. Good selection of real ales in very good condition, far better than earlier visits.

The Edmund Tylney, Leatherhead

Went here yesterday lunchtime for their beer festival and tried 4 real ales, all in excellent condition. Very civilised place during the day, although haven't been during the late evening, but then I rarely visit pubs in the evening.

The Assembly Rooms, Epsom

This pub is excellent, usually a good range of real ales.
I only visit during the afternoons when it is a bit more civilised.
Can be a bit slow at lunchtimes with people ordering meals without first deciding what they want.
Staff seem pleasant enough, but could have more on at busy times.

The Kings Tun, Kingston Upon Thames

Not keen on this pub, but went in yesterday as there was a mini beer festival on.
First pint wasn't the best I've had, however I did finish it, but did find an odd taste in the mouth. Tried half of another beer to get rid of the taste, and this was the same. Should have taken it back, but couldn't be bothered.
Won't be going back.

The Moon Under Water, Hounslow

Went to this pub yesterday, very good range of beers.
Had a beer and a meal, very fast and friendly service.
The outside was in the process of being re-painted.
