Used to live near the Leg in which time it has gone from poor to excellent to dire to excellent again. New managers have really added to the place. Good food, really good value and couldn't be more helpful. My wife asked for a brie and bacon baguette, asked if there was any cranberry sauce to go with it, they didn't so they went out and bought some from next door shop for her. Couldn't have tried harder to please. Had the homemade pie which was top notch and very tasty. Highly recommended. Nice selection of beers. roytheboy - 2 Oct 2012 14:10
Good point re previous reviews. But I seem to recall that they were all pretty scathing of the pub. Huge turn round though and there is a selection of good beers back on including Wadworths 6X. Pub has been cleaned up, redecorated and is now a nice place to go again. Restaurant also recommended. densparker - 24 Sep 2012 12:58

Went there this afternoon, very quiet and got served immediately. Only one real ale on but it was excellent. A great pub. dalecu - 18 Jun 2012 16:15
