user reviews of Ashtead Village Club, Ashtead

please note - reviews on this site are purely the opinion of site visitors, so don't take them too seriously.

Members only club, but non-members can be signed in, great place for cheap drinks, playing pool snooker and darts and etc.

In reply to the last comment this site is called beerintheevening not pubsintheevening so I see no objection to clubs using this site

It's not a public house if the public can't get in and therefore this listing should be removed IMO.

A private members club located in the northern end of the upper shopping area of Ashtead. It is long and thin with the main lounge in the front half which also has the fruit machine and a large screen TV. Midway there are stairs which go up to the Games Room, which has 3 Billiard tables, a pool table and darts. There is another pool table on the dance floor in the main lounge. At the far end of the ground floor is the bar and the bar lounge which furnished in different colours to differentiate it from the main lounge. They have 4 real ales, Youngs Bitter and Special, Sharps Doombar and Courage Bitter. All are well kept. They also have good selection of lagers and cider. Off the bar lounge is a patio area and a smoker's shelter. Drinks are cheaper than pubs but doesn't do food apart from rolls. Seating is very comfortable and the atmosphere is very friendly.
