The Dolphin, Plymouth

my grandmother used this pub in the 1920's after a day gutting fish, when ever i'm back it's the only pub to drink. simply the best

The Queens Hotel, Swansea

i lived in swansea for a year and i still think this is the friendliest pub in the area for outsiders!
great beer and an authentic local.

Samuel Pepys, Harwich

superb service, great staff, newly refurbished accomodation.

the food is very good but get there early ( 6.30!) as bookings are not taken.
london pride always on tap plus a usually excellent guest beer. busy at weekends , but great fun. mix with the locals and chat will range from brass rubbings to dredging!

The Lansdowne Strand Hotel, Calne

overpriced, now looking a bit dog eared, food is hit and miss.
