| Originally a blacksmith’s from 1620 through to 1743 it was converted to a pub known as the Bell. | Graham, Bar Manager extraordinaire, may have gone to Patagonia to teach the locals Scottish but life goes on at the New Bell - surely the finest pub in the world - with the legendary owners, Richard and Sue even popping up behind the bar. Recipient of yet another Tendring CAMRA Pub of the Year certificate in 2011 the pub is the hub of all things Harwich. | A friendly pub situated in Old Harwich near the Sailing Club. There was a good selection of beers on when I visted, and I would recommend a vist to this establishment when you are in this part of the town. Fakenham - 1 Jul 2008 23:36 |
