I have visited here on several occasions recently and what an improvement I found from a year or so ago. The place appeared clean and tidy and the beer and range were on top form with beers from the Ramsgate Brewery on offer. The staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Let�s hope it stays this way.
As it has improved I am going to give it 7/10

The Monty is one of the best pubs in Thanet and in recognition of this was awarded with the high acolade of winner of the Thanet CAMRA branch Pub of The Year last night. It is also a CAMRA LocAle accredited pub as it always beers from the Ramsgate Brewery.
Henceforth a very generous 8.5/10

This really is a superb little country pub, the home cooked food is divine and so are the very well kept Sheps ales. I took my parents there for lunch the other day and they were overjoyed by the inglenook fireplace and they can't wait to go again!!

This is an excellent 'local' set in a little village in the heart of the World Famous Jurrasic Coast line. Steve the landlord always has at least three well kept Palmers beers on offer and the food is very good as well. Well worth seeking out.

Always a great selection of well kept real ales on offer at this great little pub, always well worth the visit.

Mechanical Elephant, Margate
Popped in lunch time with friends, both the food (Gourmet Burger) and beer(Marstons Pedigree) were superb. The service was swift and the place was clean and tidy.
