Oh johnwarkstache, you really are an old urine damp, scabie infested, dog scratched carpet.

I was fully aware of your poor attempt at sarcasm & was simply returning the sentiment.

regardless of your weak put downs on grammar/spelling, the caps lock works FINE,simply emphasising certain words/phrases, not particularly creative but obviously well above your wavelength, which I would estimate is somewhere between a cheese slice & a dishcloth.

I would be interested to know what soccer team you support, I suspect it is one of the Manchecter Teams as they appear to be the popular choice among the brain dead(see your family tree, it's branches intertwine frequently I would suspect).

I again repeat, this is not my establishment, I am merely a patron

YOU & YOUR ILK ARE NOT WELCOME

Oh johnwarkstache, you crumb infested brush like dildo.
I would look forward to your MI5 stories, where you save the world, especially as I could tell where/when exactly these events took place, such as CROWETHORNE, BRACKNELL etc not a very secret secret agent are we?
Soccer fans do behave appallingly generally thus the comment, generally is the clue!
Riff raff/Surveyors like you are not welcome, I wish to enjoy my pint of ESB with like minded people from the university of life not Hatfield polytechnic.
As for business, I ASSURE YOU mine is doing rather well & as such the Pub in turn will do so too.
KEEP AWAY YOU PUNGENT PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR ATHELETES FOOT

Yet more nonsense from jealous competitors & unwanted riff raff.......
I was there when the rugby sevens was on & the people attending that obviously surveyors etc...behaving like soccer fans, it was disgusting, no wonder you received short shrift, your antics are not welcome, try the off licence & green, you'd be more suited there.

St Margarets Tavern, St Margarets

The staff continually give short measures on the pints, as they all seem to do it, I think they are told to do so by the management to save money, it's outrageous considering the price you are paying for it.

MRDGreen or whatever your real name is? AKA luta? AKA trapdoor? you obviously have a personal vendetta with this fine establishment, the owners have been there for circa 30 years, with the way pubs have been diminishing over the last 2 decades, I would say that was rather remarkable & would not be accomplished by employing RUDE, Ignorant and/or Arrogant staff, if you have an issue with the level of service or member of staff, I suggest you simply speak to the manager/owners in person rather than hide behind an anonymous review...how very sad you are.

You are obviously from a rival pub, the sun inn has never attracted 'CHAVS' it is a superb rugger pub, for all those reading these reviews please be aware of other local pubs jealousy of this long running fine establishment, if you require a real pub with real beer & real people then this is the place to go, otherwise go to the pubs suggested by 'Trapdoor' & 'Luta'.........which they obviously don't mention in order to not incriminate the pub(s) they represent, imbeciles.

I am totally shocked at this review below, what a disgrace you are, the staff are bloody marvellous in this establishment, I suggest you speak to the landlord if you have a problem & don't come on here slagging off this mighty drinking emporium.Good day to you sir.

I recently popped into this charming Rugby pub & had a great time, the Pride was super but the best thing was the locals, they really are a mixed bunch, one of them seems to be an former SAS member, he had some amazing stories to tell, will have to pop back soon.

This was a great Pub but new owners who lord it around with some hangers on have turned it into a Library, I feel for the staff, who are all BRILLIANT.

I have to say that I do actually like this pub for it's beer and everything else, except for one thing.....the food, it has to be the worst grub I've had in a boozer, they say that they have a 'Chef', I think 'Microwave operator' would be more fitting, I had a sunday roast in there recently, very expensive and very digusting, the gravy was like custurd...sorry but they really need to sort it out, if they did then I think they would do very well.
