The major revamp has cleaned it up, it has plenty of beer range but not bitter, it has a cold atmosphere, but that might be because my bitter was cold.

Gullen's Bar, Saltdean

Feels like a continental bar, lots of eccentric locals, very friendly, not your usual pub but well worth a visit for the atmosphere.

Now called The Smuggler's Rest, beer OK, staff friendly, food OK. Not super but not bad for a chain.

Only been in the daytime, opens at 10AM. Not bad, not extra special.
