The Railway, Kew Gardens

Fair play, this place needed a refresh, but, every time i've visited since its opened, its rammed in the drinking area whilst the eating area is pretty empty, just make it an all drinking/eating pub! The food certainly isnt so good it needs its own area.

Beer prices especially on the non fullers range is, well, eye watering.

Also on another note, nowhere really left in Kew now to watch the football/rugby with a pint.

Having said all that, having a Fullers in Kew certainly isnt bad news, and the atmosphere and music is not bad at all

The Railway, Mortlake

Used to really like it here, good beer etc....Visited a few weeks back with a friend, there was no ale on so we left, we were followed out by two guys who had been propping up the bar who waited till we were a safe distance away before shouting "our pub not good enough for you?". There was only one answer...."no, its not".
Sadly my experience seems to correlate with others recently. Shame.

The Inn At Kew, Kew

This could have been such a great local, 4:50 for a pint of Westons Cider though!!! service is always poor too. I would happily travel further than come back to this place and have offically given up on 'the Inn'.

The Rose and Crown, Kew

Nice little local, friendly staff too. However 8:50 for a Grolsch and G and T is too expensive. Won't be back any time soon.

The Railway, Kew Gardens

Well done the Railway!, the only pub in the area it seems, serving really good proper pub food without needing to take out a loan to buy some of it. The beer seems to have been lowered in price too. Its still the perfect place to relax after work watching the world go by outside.

The Ship, Mortlake

Been visiting for 15 years, 5 years ago it was probably the best pub in the area in terms of location food and beer, sadly it is completely gone down the pan. Paid around 7 pounds for a plate of Nachos a few weeks ago which took the shape of a small bowl of nachos with the smallest amount of cheese and salsa that a University Student would be ashamed of, the atmosphere has gone too. A real shame.
