The railway is a friendly family run pub, recently been taken over by a couple who own two other pubs in Kingston and Teddington which they have turned around into a success.
Friendly atmosphere, great beer, you can even get a decent pint of cider as they have Stowford Press on tap!
They have an internet juke box, smoking area and do great value for money roast dinners on a Sunday.
I have been told they are to be introducing live music also at the weekends.
It’s a ‘proper pub’ in a great location, 1 minute walk from Mortlake train station.
Ticks all the boxes for me!

Pleasant little H&W pub now under new management and very near Mortlake station. The beer was good and although I didn't try the food there were several people in there eating and they seemed to be enjoying it.

Sadly the menu has changed, and the food's not as good as it was. Had a rather weird platter where mediterranean and eastern influences were mixed together, not very successfully.

I don't get on with most Badger ales for some reason, often taste like someone's done something unspeakable in the glass. Nice pub though and the Export's a decent session lager if that's your thing. Best option in the Mortlake station area, certainly.
