The Beer Engine, Newton St Cyres

Amazing pub. Held a uni social there a couple of times - ended up extremely squiffy on their excellent beers both times. Friendly and welcoming despite being a 'local' pub.

Mill On The Exe, Exeter

I like it. Its the kind of pub that's never going to blow you away but you know what you're going to get and its consistent. Have 'Proper Job' as a Guest Ale at the moment which is excellent :)

The Double Locks, Exeter

Food used to be excellent - and is still good but the portion sizes have been significantly reduced - no more Bangers and Mash Challenge!! Always a great way to while away a sunny afternoon though and Beer straight from the Cask. Eclectic clientelle is probably the best description!

The French Horn, Alton

Anywhere the serves Doombar is good with me. I just hope they get Eden on as well.
Much better than it used to be a pleasant suprise on a recent visit having heard pretty average reports previously...

The Greyfriar, Chawton

Good food and usually fairly popular. Would thoroughly recommend.

Bush Inn, Arlesford

Great pub! Food is ok (bit over priced) and not what it once was, but sitting on the bridge with a pint (the beer is usually excellent) the late evening sun pouring through the trees, the water bubbling below you, trout hiding in the reeds... who cares?! Location, Location, Location and it wins everytime...

The Golden Pot, Shalden

A safe bet for food or drinks. Slightly dated interior refurb a couple of years ago which looks like it was hit hard with a can of 'paint and grain'! But the food and beer are excellent. Function room available too. Recent change of landlord I think? But have eaten there since and was still good :)
