O'Neills, Holborn

Good pint of Caffreys, friendly staff.

Prince Of Wales, Covent Garden

Good staff, with a reasonable knowledge of what they sell. Nice atmosphere, although the toilets could use a bit of work. Good pub.

The Shakespeare's Head, Holborn

Slow service, dark smelly pub. Looks like they cater for tourists, as I wouldn't think anyone would go back after their first visit!

The Penderel's Oak, Holborn

Great range of beers and wines. Really quick service considering they were packed. Nice bar downstairs with music - didn't think wetherspoons did music?

The Globe, Baker Street

Always a good place to watch the footy. That said, the ale selection is pretty poor and it takes an age to get served.

The Allsop Arms, Marylebone

Very friendly and helpful barstaff, cosy atmosphere and a decent pint of abbott.

The Trafalgar, Chelsea

Didn't have any real ale on at all or Xmas hot drinks. Service not great, but the proximity of this pub to the shops makes it worth a visit.
