The Malt House, Dorking

Not too bad. Fairly crap beer and bar staff who appear to be struggling to come to terms with being awake, but generally not too bad.

Avoid the food unless you're needing a good clear out.

The Priory, Reigate

Not bad at all - and getting better.

Great place to watch footie.

Can occassionally feel like a bit of a Student Bar, but generally speaking its pretty good.

The Nutley Hall, Reigate

I think "Benjamin" drinks at the White Hart...

I've only been here a couple of times, but found them very friendly, nice drinks and fairly priced.

Its slightly out of my way otherwise I'd drink here all the time.

If only the other landlords would take note...

The Red Cross Inn, Reigate

Another attempt at being "traditional". When will these landlords realise that what makes a pub "traditional" is service, not dark wood furniture and brass hanging on the walls?

OK drinks, slightly pricey. Good luck getting served at the rear bar. For some reason I always seem to get either the airhead dizzy brunette or a rather abrupt "older" gentleman serving me, but friends tell me service is usually OK.

OK to use if you're waiting for a table at one of the local restauraunts.

The Cage Wine Bar, Reigate

Hmm. Its "OK". Very, very loud powersuited women spend a lot of time shouting at eachother from 2 foot and letting EVERYBODY know howmuch they spent on XXXX or who they think has a crush on them.

But, on the up side - nice staff staff, pretty good beer. Nice wine, but over priced.

Definately a "meet here and move on" venue.

Take Duck-tape - you'll need it to shut those women up.

The Prince of Wales, Reigate

A nice place.

Reasonable friendly crowd, although they can be a little bit "clicky".

Good staff, nice atmosphere and generally a nice place to go.

They have a Big Screen thingy for big sports events, Darts, and a good selection of beers & wines. Oh, and occasional live music.

Well worth a visit.
